Keyshia Cole crafted her real lyrics on the streets of Oakland, California. She moved to LA when she was a teenager and scored a recording contract in 2004. She released her debut album, The Way It Is, in 2005 and staying true to the album's title, she connected with audiences through her tales of love, heartbreak, and betrayal. The album went on to sell 1.5 million copies and Cole embarked on the Sweatsuit Tour with Nelly to promote her debut. Cole returned in 2007 with the smash single "Let It Go", featuring Missy Elliot and Lil' Kim. The album, Just Like You, was massively successful and earned her two Grammy nominations the following year. Cole teamed up with Lil Wayne on the I Am Music Tour, which holds the record as the top-grossing hip-hop tour.

Between 2006 and 2008, Cole starred in the BET's hit reality show, Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is. The season finale was watched by nearly three million people and became the highest rated telecast in the history of BET. Cole released Calling All Hearts in 2010 and embarked on the Love Letter Tour with R. Kelly throughout 2011. Cole's 2012 album, Woman to Woman in 2012. The change made a world of difference, and the album placed 7 spots better on the Billboard Top 10 than her previous record. Kelly Price: As a soul singing powerhouse, Kelly Price became one of the most celebrated R&B performers in the late '90s. She first appeared as a guest vocalist on hit singles for Mariah Carey and Aretha Franklin before releasing her debut album in 1998. Since then, Kelly Price has released five top-ten R&B albums and has been nominated for four Grammy Awards. She recently released, Kelly, in May, 2011 and has been on the road to promote the disc ever since. The native Queens, New York singer was first discovered by mentor Mariah Carey who introduced her to music impresario, Tommy Mottola. After securing a recording contract, she released Soul of a Woman in 1998, which featured the #1 R&B single "Friend of Mine". She was then asked by Whitney Houston herself to sing on the hit track "Heartbreak Hotel", letting the whole world know about her powerful vocals. Her second album, Mirror, Mirror, was released in 2000 and featured the Grammy-nominated single "As We Lay". In 2003, Price made her film debut as a singer in the hit Queen Latifah film, Bringing Down the House.

In addition to R&B, Price is also well known within the Gospel world. She released her debut Gospel album, This is Who I Am, in 2006 and earned a #1 spot on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. Her most recent album, Kelly, most recently earned her another Grammy Award nomination in 2011 for the single "Tired". Soul For Real: An R&B quartet comprised of the four Dalyrimple brothers -- Brian, Chris, Dre, and Jason -- Soul for Real formed in 1992, though the siblings had spent many hours singing in their church choir. Signed to Uptown Records, Soul for Real debuted in early 1995 with Candy Rain; by the end of the year, the album had gone platinum and reached number 23 on the album charts. After touring both America and overseas, the group worked with producers Heavy D. and Sean "Puffy" Combs to record For Life. 1999 saw the release of a third album, Heat.
